Carpet Steam Cleaner

I’ve finally decided to buy a steam cleaner, but I don’t know which one. I’ve read some reviews on Bissel and Hoover that were good, and a little bit about Dirt Devils and Eureka. Which ones are easy to use and do a good job?

Also, I’ve never used one before. Do you have to run it over the same spot twice- to put down the detergent and then with just water to rinse it? Are there any models that dry the carpet at the same time or do you have to wait for it to airdry?

Anything else I should consider? I don’t want to spend more than 0 either.

If so, shark brand/model have you found to best the best? I read reviews about Shark 3 lb. one and it was said to made with low quality parts. suggestions
I guess all the advertising for steam cleaners for hardwood floors are misleading. I vac. and mop them with a Bissle cleaner. They look beautiful. I was just wondering.

I am looking for a high quality hand held steam cleaner that I would like to use to clean my upholstered sofas and for cleaning around my home. I have checked the allergybuyersclub.com site for suggestions, but they only seem to have big, clunky ones that you have to wheel around and I really don’t want to have to do that. I have never cared for canister vacuum cleaners so it wouldn’t be different with a steam cleaner. I really want to find one that I can easily carry around my home. I did notice the Ladybug steam cleaner and from reviews I have read it seems like an excellent product, but again it is the kind you have to roll it around and the hose is seems really long. I appreciate any suggestions.
I have heard of the Shark, but have read reviews that claim it’s not very good so I am not sure.

I can pay up to 5. I’ve researched the H2O steam mop and that has received bad reviews.

I am trying to find a deep cleaning steam carpet cleaner.Does anyone have any good suggestions or reviews. I have 3 cats and a dog and my high traffic areas are getting really bad., Right now I have an upright Bissell and it just doesn’t seem to be cleaning enough.

I read a review claiming this steam cleaner is better than any steamer in the market. But I can’t seem to find it on the web. I need something to clean grease on the the stove top.
